Don’t want to drop at least $1,500 on a handset to get a smartphone with stylus? LG has heard you loud and clear, and has launched the LG Q Stylus for $649 through Harvey Norman.
As the name might suggest, the Q Stylus' flagship feature is a stylus which can be used for taking handwritten notes, personalising photos, and creating GIFs. Much like the Note family, the Q Stylus has "screen off memo" functionality that lets you start jotting down notes while the phone is asleep without the need to unlock it.
Key specifications for the Q Stylus include a 6.2-inch 1080p+ display, a Mediatek MT6750 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 16MP rear-facing camera, IP68 water-resistance, and 3,300mAh battery.
While the Q Stylus is a rare example of a water-resistance midrange phone, it is a bit disappointing to see that LG has pushed RAM and storage inclusions higher. The OPPO R15, for example, has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for just $10 more.
