It's official. Apple will unveil its next iPhones on September 10 (3am September 11, AEST). The company today sent out invites for the event, featuring the tagline "by innovation only" and an Apple logo made up five coloured parts.
Apple typically uses these invites to hint at what it will be revealing. The five colours in the Apple logo could refer to colours the new iPhones are available in. Rumours have suggested the successor to the iPhone XR might also come in green and purple, which are prominently visible in the logo.
The odd translucent shapes could be a hint at the 2019 iPhone camera configuration. The successors to the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are expected to have three-rear facing cameras, made up of a primary, 2x zoom, and wide-angle lens.
Either way, we won't have to wait too long to find out.
Based on past years, we're expecting iPhone pre-orders to kick off on September 13, ahead of a September 20 release date.
On top of new iPhones, we're expecting Apple to announce a new Apple Watch, and potentially a new iPad and new MacBook.
