Rose or pink gold might not be the "it" colour for smartphones any more, but that hasn't stopped Huawei launching a fetching new limited-edition Mate 10 Pro - just in time for Valentine's Day. If you're after a pink gold Huawei Mate 10 Pro it's exclusively available through MobileCiti for $1,099. In Australia, the model is limited to just 99 units.
Key specifications for the Mate 10 Pro include a 6-inch 18:9 1080p display, a Huawei-made Kirin 970 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of non-expandable storage, IP67 water-resistance, and a 4000mAH battery.
Notably, the Mate 10 Pro's camera received a DxOMark score of 97, one point behind the Google Pixel 2 and on par with the iPhone X. The Mate 10 Pro's camera is identical to that found in the cheaper Mate 10, which we've reviewed here (complete with camera samples).
To celebrate the launch of the super limited colour, Huawei has teamed up with China Eastern to give away a pair of tickets to Paris. To enter the competition, you'll need to submit the "most romantic photo" you've taken via the contest microsite. Entries closes at 10am AEDT on February 28. No purchase is required for entry.
If you'd prefer to get the Mate 10 Pro on a plan, Optus is the telco to go with. You will however only be able to get the phone in its regular shade of blue.
