Huawei will start selling the GR5 2017 - also known as the Honor 6X overseas - locally from April 12 at price-point of $399. The midrange handset offers a unique proposition in the fact that it's - at time of writing - the cheapest smartphone with two rear-facing cameras.
Touting 12MP and 2MP cameras on the back, the GR5 2017 uses the two in tandem for faster focus, dynamic depth of field, and wider-angle shots. Essentially, it's a stripped down version of the Leica branded system found in Huawei's latest flagships.

Other key specifications include a 3,340mAh battery said to last up to 1.5 days, a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Kirin 655 octo-core processor, 32GB of expandable storage, 3GB of RAM, a rear-facing fingerprint reader, and an 8MP front-facing camera for your selfie needs. It runs Huawei's take on Android - EMUI - based on Marshmallow rather Nougat.
It's worth noting that the GR5 2017 doesn't have NFC, so you're not able to use the phone for contactless payments.
Vodafone will be ranging the GR5 2017 from April 12, and other retailers will nab it from throughout the second quarter of 2017.
