Want to change phone plan in the next five days? In addition to knocking 20% off its $40 SIM-only plan, Virgin Mobile is throwing in an extra 3GB, bringing your total inclusion up to 18GB per month.

Other plan features include unlimited talk and text, $200 credit for standard international calls and text, and data-free music streaming through services including Spotify and Google Play Music. You do however have to commit to a 12-month contract.

This promotion ends at 12pm on February 21.

Of course, Virgin's deal isn't the only promo going around right now. If you're a university student, you can take advantage of an Optus back to school offer that gets you a 20GB phone plan for $36 per month on a 12-month contract. Or if you're after a prepaid plan, Vodafone is running hefty discounts on starter packs until the end of the month - and throwing in double data too!
