Good deal: Telstra 60GB SIM-only plan for $49 per month

Telstra is getting into the festive spirit with a hell of a promo: new customers who switch to Telstra can get a 60GB SIM-only plan for just $49 per month. This plan typically retails for $69 per month.

On top of a sizeable data allowance, the plan also includes unlimited international talk and text to 15 countries and unlimited "peace of mind data" (data slowed to speeds of 1.5Mbps) to use if you go over your 60GB.

The plan is offered on a 12-month contract.

If you're a current Telstra customer who wants to recontract, Telstra will still give you a discount, albeit smaller. You'll only save $10 bringing the plan to $59 per month.

This offer is available until December 17.
