Good deal: Telstra 40GB SIM-only plan just $59 for new customers

If you're looking to switch to Telstra, the telco will now offer a $10 "port in" discount on its $69 SIM-only plan for customers making the change. This means the plan will now get 40GB of data, unlimited talk and text, and unlimited talk and text to 15 international destinations for $59 per month.

The plan also includes Peace of Mind data, which means you won't pay excess charges when you hit your cap. Instead, your download speeds will be slowed to 1.5Mbps.

While Telstra currently has three SIM-only plans, the $10 new customer credit is only available on its 40GB plan. The three plans are as follows:
