Well that didn't take long. Optus is already running big discounts on Samsung's Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, just a month after the phones went on sale.
The promotional plans start at $69 per month which gets you 25GB of data, unlimited talk and text, an Optus Sport subscription, and a 64GB Galaxy S9. While the plan is easily the best value option for getting an S9 on Optus, you do miss out on a couple of inclusion featured on Optus' standard plans. These include international calls, and a data-free video streaming through Netflix and Stan.
All four Galaxy S9 configurations are available on Optus' promo plan. Monthly pricing is as follows:
- Galaxy S9 (64GB): $69 per month
- Galaxy S9 (256GB): $84 per month
- Galaxy S9+ (64GB): $79 per month
- Galaxy S9+ (256GB): $89 per month
The Galaxy S9 isn't the only phone Optus is discounting. You can also get:
- Huawei Mate 10 Pro: $79 per month, 35GB of data
- OPPO R11s: $49 per month, 20GB of data
- iPhone 7 (128GB): $64 per month, 25GB of data
- Galaxy S8: $49 per month, 20GB of data
- HTC U11: $49 per month, 20GB of data
If you want more info on any of these plans, check out the Optus website as the offers are online only. As with the Galaxy S9 plans, you won't get international calls inclusion, or data-free video streaming.
The above offers are online only, and available to both new and recontracting customers. If you want to get amongst these deals, you've got until May 20.
