Optus is offering prepaid customers $210 off a 32GB Space Grey iPhone SE, down from its regular price of $679 to for $469. If you're new to Optus, you'll even get a bonus $50 prepaid SIM, which give you 20GB of data, data-free streaming on Google Play Music and Spotify, and unlimited talk and text.
Since the phone is being sold as a prepaid device, it's locked to Optus network, which means you won't be able to take it to another provider without forking out a bit of extra cash. If you want to unlock your shiny new iPhone SE within the first six months, you'll need to either recharge a minimum of $80 worth of value, or pay an $80 unlocking fee. If you haven't recharged at least $80 on your account after six months, you'll pay $25 instead.
Even if you want to unlock the iPhone SE straight away, you're still a saving $130 compared to the retail price.
Notably, you're able to spit the iPhone SE's $469 up into four payments of $117.25 through Optus' partnership with Afterpay. The first instalment is made at the time of purchase, and the last three are made over the next six weeks.
Key specifications for the iPhone SE include the iPhone 5s' iconic design and 4-inch display, the iPhone 6s' A9 processor and 12MP rear-facing camera, a first generation Touch ID fingerprint reader, and 2GB of RAM.
