Good deal: $400 off a Huawei P20 Pro if you port to Telstra

The Huawei P20 Pro has only been sale for about two months, but JB Hi-Fi is already offering deep discounts. You can now get $400 off Huawei's latest if you ditch your current phone plan and swap to Telstra.

The plan you'll need to sign-up for is JB's $49 per month Telstra deal, which includes 25GB of data and unlimited talk and text on a 12-month contract. This offer is available in store only for customers not already on Telstra.

The Huawei P20 Pro normally retails for $1,099 outright. With a $400 discount, that comes to $699. When you factor in a year of service on Telstra, you're looking at spending $1,287 over the course of the year you're locked in for. Considering that's only about $200 more than grabbing the P20 Pro outright, it's certainly worth considering if you're after what we'd say is the best camera smartphone currently on the market.
