Good deal: $400 off a OPPO R15 Pro if you port to Telstra

The OPPO R15 and OPPO R15 Pro only hit shelves today, but JB Hi-Fi is already offering big discounts. You can get $400 off either phone if you ditch your current phone plan and swap to Telstra.

The plan you'll need to sign-up for is JB's $49 per month Telstra deal, which includes 25GB of data and unlimited talk and text on a 12-month contract. This offer is available in store only for customers not already on Telstra.

The OPPO R15 and R15 Pro retail for $659 and $779 respectively. With the discount, that comes down to $249 and $379. When you factor in the year of service on Telstra, you're looking at $837 for the R15 and $967 for the R15 Pro. In both cases, that's less than $200 more than grabbing the phone outright. Considering the 25GB  data allowance, that's not bad at all.

This offer runs until July 23.

So what about the phones? The R15 Pro and standard R15 are OPPO's latest "affordable premium" devices. Both have an extra-tall notched display and have moved from aluminium to glass for the back. You still get a headphone jack, though. Key specifications are as follows:
