Good Deal: Optus' $40 per month 80GB SIM-only plan is back

Optus has brought back one of its best deals to date: $40 per month for an 80GB SIM-only plan. On top of a whole load of data, the plan includes unlimited talk and text, an Optus Sport subscription, and data-free streaming through Spotify and Google Play Music.

Notably, you also get 4GB of monthly roaming data which can be used in "Zone 1" countries (Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America). Optus roaming data is typically billed at $10 per 100MB when travelling in Zone 1, so this plan could be a great option for regular travellers. In many cases, it could even be cheaper than picking up a local SIM, provided you can make it through your trip with just 4GB.

You'll need to sign a 12-month contract to get this deal. Here are the full details.

Optus is running this promo until June 6.
