OPPO is partnering with YouTube to give all OPPO smartphone owners in Australia four months of free access to YouTube Music Premium. This offer applies to all new customers, as well as anyone who already a owns pretty much any OPPO smartphone from the past couple of years.
YouTube Music Premium is Google's latest attempt at a music streaming service. The subscription is valued at $11.99 per month, and includes ad-free access to all of YouTube Music, the ability to play music with your screen off or in another app, and the option to save music videos to your phone for offline watching.
If you pick up (or already own) an OPPO Reno, Find series, R series, or A series device before January 21 2020, you'll be eligible for the four month free trial. That's pretty much every OPPO smartphone on the market. It is however worth noting that that you're not eligible for the offer if you've used YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Red, or Google Play Music before.
A four-month free trial to a music streaming service isn't a great reason to choose one phone over another, but it sure is a nice bonus if you were going to pick up an OPPO smartphone anyway.
OPPO's announcement coincides with the release of the Reno 5G and Reno 10x Zoom, which are both of sale now.
If you pick up either phone in the next couple of weeks, you'll get a bonus pair of Bose SoundSport Free wire-free earbuds valued at $299.
