
It feels like we've been waiting forever, but Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 is now on sale. If you want to be among the first to get your hands on the new hotness, read on for your options.
If you're after the phone outright, the Galaxy Note 8 will set you back a massive $1,499 outright. You'll be able to pick it up direct from Samsung, through JB Hi-Fi, and Harvey Norman.
Amaysim will also sell you the Note 8 outright or on an installment plan, and will throw in six months of free service (valued at $600).
If you want the Note 8 on a contract, Telstra, Optus, Virgin, and Vodafone are all ranging the phone. You've got your pick of black or gold in terms of colour, and if purchase your Note 8 before October 31 (and register by November 14), Samsung will provide one free screen repair that you can use within your first 12 months of ownership.
In case you missed the news, the Note 8 is ostensibly a bigger version of the Galaxy S8+ with two rear-facing cameras (one is used as a telephoto zoom lens) and the S Pen.
Key specifications for the Galaxy Note 8 include a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display running at a resolution of 1440x2960 pixels, an Exynos 8895 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, IP68 water-resistance, and a 3300mAh battery. There's still a headphone jack.
