Boost Mobile today unveiled some big changes to its prepaid phone plan line up, including the introduction of some generous international calling inclusions.
The Boost plan range has increased to 3 recharge levels priced at $25, $40 and $50 per 28 days. All plans operate on the Telstra 4G network and all still have weekend data built into the plan. Boost has reduced this data each weekend, opting instead to increase the everyday data in its plan range.
On top of unlimited Australian calls and SMS, the $40 and $50 plans also include unlimited calls and messages to 10 countries: Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Korea, Singapore, the UK and the USA. For people frequently calling these countries, Boost Mobile is now the only choice for these overseas calls and access to the Telstra network.
| Plan | Calls | Data | International |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25 Recharge | 100 mins | 1.5GB +1GB weekends | None |
| $40 Recharge | Unlimited | 5GB + 1GB weekends | Unlimited to 10 countries |
| $50 Recharge | Unlimited | 7GB + 1GB weekends | Unlimited to 10 countries |
For customers who like the old stuff better than the new stuff, Boost Mobile will grandfather the old $20 and $40 plans and allow existing customers to continue recharging at those levels.
