Belkin Boost Up Bold Wireless Charging Pad

As predicted, Apple's move to wireless charging with the current generation of iPhones has led to a surge of new interest in the space. Accessory manufacturer Belkin is leading the charge, having unveiled five new solutions over the weekend as part of the CES tradeshow in Las Vegas.

Belkin's new wireless chargers include the following:

  • Boost Up Bold Wireless Charging Pad: A basic charging pad that your phone lays on top of
  • Boost Up Wireless Charging Stand: A charging pad that also doubles as a stand, elevating your phone off your chosen surface
  • Boost Up Wireless Charging Car Mount: A car mount with wireless charging capabilities
  • Boost Up Dual Wireless Charging Pad: A charging pad that can simultaneously charge two different devices

All four of these are 10 watt chargers, and will charge through most cases (provided they're thinner than 3mm).

Belkin Boost Up Wireless Charging Stand

The last solution - the Boost Up Wireless Charging System - isn't so much a consumer-facing product, but designed for commercial use. It's a wireless charging pad specifically for businesses, restaurants, cafés, likes of hotels, and as such, is designed to be permanently mounted or embedded in a surface.

All five Boost Up wireless chargers support the Qi standard; this means they'll charge the most recent Samsung flagships smartphones (as far back as the Galaxy S6), in addition to Apple's latest iPhones (and any other Qi compliant device).

Belkin has yet to confirm pricing or availability for any of its new wireless chargers.
