Australian Samsung Galaxy S8s to come in black, gold, silver

Ahead of this month's Galaxy S8 unveiling, Samsung Australia has already started taking expressions of interests regarding the new phone through a teaser website. In addition to all of the standard items you'd expect to fill out on a web form, Samsung is also asking about preferred colours, giving you a choice of black, gold, or silver.

Historically, these are the three colours Samsung has used for phones locally, and as such, could very likely be the three colours of S8 Samsung will bring to Australia.

Unless Samsung Australia isn't giving us the full picture, it looks like Australia could be missing out on at least two colours; according to a tweet from TechDroider, the Galaxy S8 looks like it will also be available in white and coral blue.

The ill-fated Note 7 was the first Samsung flagship to launch in coral blue, but only gold, black, and silver were available in Australia.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S8 at a New York "Unpacked" event on March 29. If you're hoping to watch along, you'll need a strong coffee: the livestream kicks off at 2am AEDT on the 30th.
