Samsung released the Galaxy S21 FE last week, and Telstra has already taken $100 off the price.
Until midnight on January 20 (today), you can pick up the latest Samsung phone for just $899 on any Telstra plan. Here are Telstra's 24-month Galaxy S21 FE plans:
And here's how that compares to the most popular Galaxy S21 FE plans:
The $100 discount is split up across your monthly payments. So if you opt for a 24-month plan then you’ll pay $4.16 less per month for the duration of the plan, while on a 36-month plan that comes to $2.78.
All of Telstra’s plans are contract-free, so you can leave at any time but you will need to pay out the remaining value of the phone. In this case, if you cancel before your repayment plan is completed then you’ll lose the $100 discount and need to pay the remaining value of the S21 FE up to the full $999.
Samsung’s FE range is its Fan Editions, featuring standout features from the flagship S series but as a cheaper package. The S21 FE is similar to the S21 proper, sporting the same processor, water resistance, and screen resolution. You’ll get a higher MP count on the selfie camera on the FE (32MP, compared to 10MP on the S21), but a lower count on the telephoto lens (8MP vs 64MP on the S21), as well as a larger battery and display for the FE.
