TCL's latest smartphone - the TCL 20 Pro 5G - will hit shelves tomorrow, and it's launching with a rather surprising offer. If you pick up the TCL 20 Pro 5G through either Vodafone or Mobileciti before July 29, you'll score yourself a free TV.
The TV in question is a TCL 43-inch 1080p model powered by Android TV (the TCL S625). It's valued at $599.
When it comes to the phone itself, the TCL 20 Pro 5G sits at the higher end of TCL's portfolio with an outright price of $799.
Key specifications include a 6.67-inch 1080p+ display, a Snapdragon 750 5G processor, 6GB of RAM, 256GB of expandable storage, and a 4,500mAh battery. On the back you'll find four cameras, include a 48MP primary lens, 16MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth lens.

At $799, the TCL 20 Pro 5G comes in at the same price as the Pixel 4a 5G, but has twice as much internal storage and an all-glass design. It is however a bit more expensive than Samsung's Galaxy A52 5G which starts at $649, has the same processor but a higher refresh rate display and IP67 water-resistance. Opting for a 256GB Galaxy A52 5G will set you back $749. The Galaxy A52 5G has a plastic back instead of glass, however. And of course, neither of those phones come with a free TV.
You'll find the TCL 20 Pro 5G on a plan at Vodafone or outright at Mobileciti from tomorrow. Harvey Norman will also be ranging it from August.
You'll be able to grab it in a choice of "Moondust Gray" or "Marine Blue".
