Samsung has confirmed that it will be hosting its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10. Its expected to debut the next generation of its foldables; the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The event will happen at 11pm AEST time with pre-orders looking like they'll start immediately following the event. The event will be streamed on Samsung.com.
Galaxy AI will be a big part of the announcement with new features on the way.
Samsung has brought the event forward two weeks sooner than it was last year making it likely we'll see the devices available for customers by August.
Customers who register for the event between June 26 and July 10 will receive an exclusive $100 trade-in bonus. This will be doubled for a limited time to $200 between 10:59pm AEST July 10 and 10:59pm AEST July 13. This trade-in credit can only be put toward the devices Samsung will announce.
It's an exciting time for Samsung fans, with the South Korean tech company expected to provide further details about the previously announced Galaxy Ring. Plus, Samsung is also expected to reveal the Galaxy Watch 7 family of smartwatches.
Pricing and availability for the new handsets are to be confirmed but we can expect at least the big three telcos Telstra, Optus and Vodafone to offer the devices on mobile plans as they have previously. Each telco usually offers a tantalising pre-order deal. For the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 release last year we saw Galaxy Watches and Galaxy Buds thrown in for free and up to $500 of bonus trade-in credit on offer.
