Prolific leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (also known as OnLeaks) today published leaked-based renders of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra, showing off rather sizeable camera bumps. This is especially true in the case of the Galaxy S21 Ultra (these names aren't confirmed yet - Samsung might end up going with Galaxy S30 instead), where the camera bump appears to take up about one-sixth of the phone's back.
In addition to its sheer size, the camera bump on the S21 Ultra appears to spill over the edge of the phone and features a curved corner, marking a clear shift from the more squared off-floating camera bumps in the S20 family.
Hemmerstoffer expects the S21 Ultra to have as many as four camera lenses, but he isn't sure of specifics. A primary lens, an ultra-wide lens, and two telephoto lenses could be a safe bet.
Interestingly, Hemmerstoffer says that while the S21 Ultra won't have a dedicated stylus slot, it still may ship with a Galaxy Note-like S Pen in the box.

The camera bump on the standard Galaxy S21 should mercifully be much smaller, but it still shares the same spill-over design. Unlike with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the flash is expected to sit outside of the camera bump, which helps bring down the size. The renders suggest the Galaxy S21 will hold firm with three-rear facing cameras. We're guessing that these will be similar to the S20 and include a primary lens, ultra-wide lens, and 3x telephoto.
The duo are set to be joined by a Galaxy S21 Plus, but Hemmerstoffer has yet to share any renders of the third device.
Hemmerstoffer expects Samsung to unveil the Galaxy S21 series in January next year, which would be a change of pace for the manufacturer. Samsung typically unveils its new S series handsets in mid-to-late February ahead of retail availability in March.
