‘Tis the darkest Friday of them all, and with that shade rolling across comes relief. Not from the heat, but from the recommended retail price on a range of products.
Samsung is hellbent on discounting its 2020 stock and we’ve seen a bunch of telcos take them up on the offer.
Here are all the discounted Samsung devices available this Black Friday, and where you can score these deals.
- Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
- Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G
- Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G
- Samsung Galaxy A51
- Samsung Galaxy A71 5G
- Samsung Z Flip
- Samsung Z Flip 5G
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 4G
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 7+ 5G
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
Telstra is taking $250 off the outright price of the Galaxy S20 Ultra. This is broken up into a monthly discount based on your repayment structure, so over 24-months you’ll save $10.41 per bill.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G
Save $220.32 by getting your Galaxy S20 FE with the Optus network. On a 36-month plan you’ll pay just $21.63 of phone repayments, plus plan costs.
Woolworths Mobile is jumping on the bandwagon as well slashing $200 from FE prices.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G
If you’d prefer your Galaxy Fan Edition in 5G then it is worth checking out Telstra’s deal. You’ll save $300 on the 5G variant of this handset over the course of your plan.
Samsung Galaxy A51
Optus is knocking this one out of the park offering $417.60 off the Galaxy A51. You’ll only pay $5 per month on phone repayments if you go with a three year plan.
Telstra has also dropped a discount, but it is less than half what the ‘Yes’ network is slogging. You can still get $200 off with Telstra if you’d prefer.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G
While not a flagship, the A series is one of Samsung’s most popular range of phones. Optus has slashed a massive $399.06 off the Galaxy A71 5G meaning that you’ll pay just $13.86 for your device over 36-months.
Samsung Z Flip
Flippy boys are getting the royal treatment with discounts of up to $1000! The Z Flip is a really interesting device to come out of this year, mimicking the clamshell phones of ole. Although the price tag is steep, this discount with both Telstra and Vodafone brings it down to under $1000, repositioning it as almost a budget flagship.
Samsung Z Flip 5G
If you want nostalgia with the latest tech then it may be worth upgrading to the Z Flip 5G. Optus is taking $350 off the price - of course this isn’t as significant as what you’d get with the 4G variant’s discounts above.
It is also worth noting that 5G is great, but Optus’ 5G network is still very much in its infancy. So you may be buying tech you’re unlikely to get full use of for a while.
Samsung Z Fold2
Prefer your foldables to fold vertically instead? Well the Z Fold2 is also $500 off with both Optus and Telstra.
Woolworths Mobile is offering the same folding discount but on Z Fold2.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 4G
Tablets are taking a price dive as well with Optus and Telstra slashing prices on the Galaxy Tab S7 4G. Optus will take $350 off the recommended retail price while Telstra is offering a slightly smaller saving of $300.
Samsung Galaxy S7+ 5G
If you absolutely must have your tablet with 5G connectivity then you’ll get a $350 discount from both Optus and Telstra on the Galaxy S7+ 5G.
