A new iPhone may be just around the corner, but Optus is currently running a killer deal on the iPhone 11. If you pick up an iPhone 11 on a 24-month or 36-month plan, you'll save $500, which is roughly equivalent to a 50% discount on the 64GB model. When you factor in the discount, plans start at just under $66 per month with 20GB of data on a 24-month term.

This offer runs until August 1.
The iPhone 11 may almost be coming up on two years old, but it's still a reliable pick if you're after an affordable iPhone. We're expecting it to get a further five years of support, and it's just a great all-round device. It's not quite as sleek as the iPhone 12, but you still get a great camera, a day-and-a-half battery life, and a fantastic processor.
In addition, Optus is also offering a $300 trade-in credit for anyone who trades in an iPhone 7, iPhone 8, iPhone SE (2020), iPhone XR, iPhone XS, or iPhone XS Max - assuming they're in good working order. While you can definitely get better value for the newer phones on the second-hand market, $300 is a much stronger offer than what you'd get if you'd try to sell an iPhone 7 or iPhone 8 on eBay right now.
If you want to trade your old iPhone in at Optus, you need to be a new or existing postpaid customer. The credit will be applied to either your first or second bill after the trade. To do so online, follow these steps:
- Select your device on the Optus trade-in website
- Enter your details
- Post your device using a prepaid satchel
Alternatively, you can visit an Optus store to hand in your old iPhone.
