Optus has one of the best deals we've seen on Samsung's Galaxy S24, selling last year's high-end device for $798.48 with 256GB of storage.
For comparison, JB Hi-Fi is still charging $1,237 for the Galaxy S24. Samsung itself doesn't have the Galaxy S24 on its web store anymore, but it sells the lower-end Galaxy S24 FE in a 256GB configuration for $1,199 currently.
Optus allows customers to purchase the Galaxy S24 outright or on a mobile plan. If you want to purchase it outright, you don't need to be an existing Optus customer to do so. If you're looking at it on a 36-month term, it works out to be a $22.18 per month repayment on top of your chosen plan.
Here are Optus' 36-month Galaxy S24 plans:
Notably, the $798.48 Optus is asking for the Galaxy S24 isn't discounted pricing. This means if you leave early, you'll pay out the remaining value of the phone. You don't forfeit any bonus savings.
While the Galaxy S24 will be two in January, it's pretty easy to recommend at under $800. Samsung is promising seven years of operating system and security updates. After its updates in January, it will still have another five years of support. In our review last year, we were impressed by the Galaxy S24's solid performance, all-day battery life, and slick design.
