Optus' annual Black Friday sale has deep discounts on handsets this year.
The most eye-catching deal is a 50% discount on the iPhone 16e, bringing down its price to just $499 for a 128GB model. This is available to anyone who buys the phone on either a 36-month or 24-month plan. This works out to be a $13.88 per month discount on a 36-month plan, or a $20.82 discount on a 24-month plan.
Here are Optus' 36-month iPhone 16e plans:
50% discounts are also available for the Google Pixel 10 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S25. That works out to be a $1,000 discount on Google's latest flagship, or a $700 discount on the Samsung.
Once again, these savings are applied over 36 or 24 months. For the Pixel 10 Pro XL, customers get a $22.78 discount on a 36-month term or a $41.67 discount on a 24-month term. Here are Optus' 36-month Pixel 10 Pro XL plans:
For the Galaxy S25, the discount is $19.44 on a 36-month term, or $29.16 on a 24-month term. Here are Optus' 36-month Galaxy S25 plans:
These discounts stack with Optus' SIM-only plan discounts, where customers can save 30% on its Small or Medium plans for their first 12 months. This brings the Small plan down to $38.50 per month for the first year, and the Medium plan down to $45.50 per month for the first year. Pricing reverts after 12 months, even if a customer has paired the plan with a new phone.

Optus also has a couple of internet Black Friday deals. Customers can save $15 per month for a year on almost any Optus internet plan, whether it's NBN or 5G home internet. That works out to be a total saving of $180 across the year.

These deals all run until December 1.
