OPPO Find N6

Prefer WhistleOut in Google

OPPO has followed up the launch of Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 family with a discount on its own high-end foldable. From today until August 5, OPPO is offering a $500 discount on the Find N6 through JB Hi-Fi and its own webstore.

This brings the price of the Find N6 down to $2,799, which sees it undercut the $2,999 Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra it ostensibly competes with. Of course, the Big Three telcos are all offering launch discounts on Samsung's new foldables, with savings of up to $800 available for those who pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra on a plan.

If you'd prefer to get the OPPO Find N6 on a phone plan, Vodafone currently has a $400 discount on the phone. This works out to be a saving of $11.12 per month on a 36-month term. In addition, Vodafone is offering $400 bonus credit for customers who trade in an old device toward the Find N6. This deal runs until the end of August.

When we reviewed the Find N6 earlier in the year, we called it "the best foldable you can buy right now". We haven't had a chance to put the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra through its paces yet, so we can't confidently say how the pair compare yet.

In addition to the Find N6 deals, OPPO announced launch offers for its new Reno 16 devices. Customers who pick up the Reno 16 Pro before August 5 get a bonus OPPO Watch X3 valued at $699, while those who choose the Reno 16 F score an OPPO Watch S valued at $399 instead.

Both phones are available from today, priced at $1,599 for the Reno 16 Pro, and $999 for the Reno 16 F.

Launching alongside them is the OPPO Bubble. The Bubble is a magnetic puck that sticks to the back of select OPPO phones (including the Reno 16 family), and acts as a secondary screen. This can be used for taking photos, but also has a digital pet function. The Bubble is priced at $189.
