OPPO today announced the local availability of its entry-level A15 smartphone, one of the company's more affordable devices to date. The phone will be available in-stores from tomorrow at a price of $239 outright.
Key specifications for the OPPO A15 include a 6.5-inch 720p+ display, a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 4,230mAh battery. On the back you'll find a 13MP primary camera, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth lens. On the front, there's a 5MP selfie camera.
Those specs are pretty reasonable for the money, but it’s also worth shopping around. Vivo's Y12 is available for $199 and while it has a slower processor, it has a larger 5,000mAh battery and 64GB of storage. The Nokia 5.3 will set you back $239 and has a faster Snapdragon 665 processor and 64GB of storage. Or if you're thinking about sticking with OPPO, there's the A52 that has the same Snapdragon 665 processor as the Nokia, a higher resolution screen, 64GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.
You'll be able to get the OPPO A15 in a choice of Mystery Blue or Dynamic Black. You'll find it at JB Hi-Fi, Woolworths, Mobileciti, Amazon, The Good Guys, and Officeworks.
