HMD today announced the latest Nokia-branded smartphone coming to Australia, the Nokia G10. Moving away from its previous naming scheme, the Nokia G10 is the first device in the brand's new G-series. The G-series is the new middle tier in the Nokia portfolio, flanked by the X-series at the top and C-series at the bottom.
The Nokia G10 has a few unique propositions. The first is warranty; most smartphones sold in Australia have a two-year warranty. HMD has extended this out for three. Secondly, HMD says the Nokia G10 can last up to three days per charge, thanks to a 5,050mAh battery.
As with other Nokia-branded phones, the Nokia G10 will get three years of monthly security updates and two years of major operating system updates, taking it all the way to Android 13.
Other key specifications for the Nokia G10 include a 6.5-inch 720p+ display, a Mediatek G25 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable storage. On the back, you'll find a 13MP primary lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth lens.
The Nokia G10 will be available from April 29 for $199 in a choice of "Night" or "Dusk". You'll find it at JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, The Good Guys, Big W, and the Nokia mobile online store.
