Nokia 5.4 now available for $329

Nokia is starting its year in smartphones with a new budget handset, the $329 Nokia 5.4. While there's no one clear defining feature, on paper, the Nokia 5.4 seems to offer pretty good value for money.

Key specifications include a 6.39-inch 720p+ display, a Snapdragon 662 processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and a 4,000Mah battery said to last up to two-days. In terms of cameras, you'll find a 48MP primary lens, 5MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth lens on the back.

The Nokia 5.4 is part of the Android One program, which means it will get two years of major operating system updates and three years of security updates. This kind of support is rare when it comes to more affordable devices, so having guaranteed updates is certainly reassuring.

The Nokia 5.4 is available from today in a choice of Polar Night and Polar Dusk. You'll find it at JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks, and it will shortly be ranged by Big W and Harvey Norman too.
