Aussies will be able to get their hands on Motorola's new Moto G8 from May 28 for just $329. The Moto G8 is the latest device in the Motorola G series, a range typically associated with bang-for-buck.
While the Moto G8 doesn't have any particular standout features, it seems like solid all-round value. Key specifications include a 6.4-inch 720p+ display, a Snapdragon 665 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, and a 4,000mAh battery. In terms of cameras, you'll find a 16MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
You'll be able to pick up the Moto G8 from JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, The Good Guys, and Mobileciti from May 28.
The Moto G8 will also be available on a postpaid plan from June via Vodafone, but exact timing and pricing has yet to be confirmed. However, given Vodafone's plan structure, you're probably looking at a $13.75 per month or so repayment on a 24-month plan, or just under $10 per month repayment on a 36-month plan. You'll need to pair it with one of Vodafone's SIM-only plans, which are as follows:

The Moto G8 will be followed by two other new Motorola devices later in June: The Moto G8 Power Lite, and the Moto E6s.
The Moto G8 Power Lite is all about battery, touting a 5,000mAh cell said to last over 48 hours per charge. Other key specifications include a 6.5-inch 720p+ display, a Helio P35 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage. You'll find a 16MP primary lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth lens on the back. The Moto G8 Power Lite will set you back $279.

The Moto E6s is Motorola's new entry-level device, retailing for $199. Key specifications include a 6.1-inch 720p+ display, a Helio P22 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000mAh battery. Despite the budget price-tag, you'll still find two-rear facing cameras: a 13MP primary lens and a 2MP depth lens.
Both of these phones only run Android 9, whereas the Moto G8 runs Android 10.
