Motorola's latest smartphone costs less than $200

Motorola today announced the local availability of the Moto E6 Plus, a new budget smartphone with a $199 price-tag.

While the phone itself isn't overly exciting, Motorola's cheaper handsets have typically punched above their price. We really liked the Moto E5 last year, and the Moto E6 Plus improves on it with a larger screen, a faster processor dual rear-facing camera, and more storage out of the box.

Key specifications for the Moto E6 Plus include a 6.1-inch 720p+ display, a MediaTek Helio P22 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 13MP + 2MP rear-facing camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.

The Moto E6 Plus is available from today for $199 direct through the Motorola website, or at retailers including Officeworks, The Good Guys, Big W, and Mobileciti.
