Looking for a new SIM-only or prepaid phone plan but can't work out what to pick? Here's a look at the most popular plans on WhistleOut in the last week.
1. Telstra
Telstra has a solid prepaid deal worth considering if you want access to the Big T network. You'll get 20GB for $30 on your first three 28-day recharges if you sign-up before October 28. This goes back to 10GB after, but the plan does include standard international calls to 20 countries - a perk that costs extra on Telstra postpaid plans.
2. amaysim
Thanks to a promo, amaysim is currently offering 2GB for just $10 per 28-day recharge. That's one of the very best deals around when it comes to the cheaper end of the market. While prepaid offers tend to only apply to your first recharge, you'll get 2GB per month for as long as you stick with this plan, provided you sign up before October 31. amaysim is powered by the Optus network.
3. amaysim
amaysim earned another spot in chart this week, because a dollar per gig is a damn good deal, especially when you get 30 of them. At $30 for 30GB on a 28-day recharge, amaysim is a solid pick if you're after a prepaid service. On top of heaps of data, you'll get unlimited standard international calls to 10 select countries, and unlimited international text to 32 select countries. amaysim is powered by the Optus network.
4. Optus
Optus is also running a pretty solid prepaid deal. You'll get 35GB for $30 on your first three 28-day recharges. This drops back to 10GB after, but the plan does however also include 10GB of streaming data just for Netflix, Stan, and ABC iview.
5. Jeenee Mobile
Jeenee Mobile's 15GB plan is one of the best offers around in terms of data-for-dollar, and if you sign up now, you'll even get a slight discount. $19.90 per month gets you 15GB on a 12-month contract, down from $22.50 per month. You will pay a $12.37 set-up fee, however. Jeenee Mobile is powered by the Optus network.
How we measure plan popularity
The popularity of these plans is measured by the number of "product information" and "go to site" clicks they've had on WhistleOut across the past seven days.
