Honor has announced three new devices including the latest in its flagship Magic series, the Magic 8 Pro.
This is the second wave on handsets the brand has sold locally since it entered the Australian market at the end of last year.
The new flagship starts at $1,999 and features Honor's latest AiMAGE camera system. It has a 200MP main lens with 3.7 optical zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and 50MP wide lens which Honor claims will work together to enhance night photography.
The premium handset has a 6.71-inch OLED display and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The extra-large 7,100mAh battery should offer days (plural) of battery life. The device comes in three colourways Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan and Midnight Black.
If you purchase the Honor Magic 8 Pro from a participating retailer between now and May 13, you'll be able to get the Honor Watch 4 Pro (valued at $499 RRP) as a bonus.
Honor also announced the latest addition to its X Series line-up; the Honor X9d 5G. It has an IP69K rating (the highest ingress protection) for dust and water resistance. As with its predecessor it's been certified for resistance to drops from drops of 2.5 meters.
The new mid-range smartphone comes with a huge 8,300mAh battery, which is one of the largest batteries available in the market today. Honor says you expect up to three days of use on one charge; or the equivalent of 52.5 hours of music streaming or 23.8 hours of online video streaming on one charge.
The Honor X9d 5G comes with a large 6.79-inch display and is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor. It has a 108Mp main lens that utilises optical and electrical image stablisation to help reduce blur. It's available in Midnight Back, Reddish Brown and Sunrise Gold and priced at $699. If you purchase it before May 13 you'll get a bonus Honor Watch 2 Pro (valued at $299 RPP).
Finally, for the budget conscious there's the the Honor X6D 5G which is available for just $299. It has a 6.75-inch display, 50MP main lens, and a large 5,260mAh battery. It comes in just two colours Ocean Cyan and Midnight Black.
When you purchase it before May 13, you'll get the Honor Earbuds Clip (valued at $199 RRP) for free.
All three mobile devices are available for pre-order now from JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and The Good Guys with an official release date of April 23.
