Google has introduced a green version of the Pixel 8 Pro, marking the first time the search giant has launched a new colourway part way through a phone's life cycle. This practice is common among rivals like Apple and Samsung, where we've seen fresh colour options several months after launch.
While the standard Pixel 8 is also getting the "Mint" green finish in the United States, the new colour is exclusive to the Pixel 8 Pro in Australia. The new colour is available direct from Google, JB Hi-Fi, and Telstra. At this stage, Optus and Vodafone aren't ranging the new colour.
Here are the cheapest Pixel 8 Pro phone plans in Australia:
If you buy the Pixel 8 Pro direct from Google, you'll get a $390 credit for the Google store. You can also get $390 back if you trade in a Pixel 6 Pro. This offer ends February 9. Alternatively, JB Hi-Fi is selling the 128GB Pixel 8 Pro from $1,449 until February 4. That's a $250 discount on its usual $1,699 asking price.
