Google will start taking pre-orders for the Pixel 10a on February 19, the company has revealed on its webstore. While Google has yet to announce the device, it did publish the above image, showing that it should look pretty similar to last year's Pixel 9a.
Google also hinted that pricing may be lower than last year's model. In a newsletter, the manufacturer used the tagline "it's more than you'd expect, for less" with fine print clarifying "compared to Pixel 9a". Locally, the Pixel 9a sold for a starting price of $849.
Customers who sign up to Google's mailing list before 5.59pm (AEST) on February 13 will be given an exclusive offer on the day pre-orders begin. It is unclear if Google will reveal the Pixel 10a in full before or on February 19.
While Google has yet to confirm any specs for the Pixel 10a, the move to the same Tensor G5 chipset found in the rest of the Pixel 10 family wouldn't be surprising. And given the similar design, it wouldn't be surprising if Google stuck with a 6.3-inch display.
The February 19 pre-order date does make it seem like Google will beat Samsung's Galaxy S26 family to market. The Galaxy S26 is expected to be announced a week after on February 25.
