Optus provider Circles.Life has refreshed its range of SIM-only mobile plans and there's a clear standout if you're looking to save money on your monthly bill. The telco has a new entry-level plan that gets you 5GB for just $10 per month. While that's not a huge allowance, it could be a great pick if you're a light user or you're looking for a plan for a child.
The plan is contract-free, and if you go over your allowance, you'll pay $10 for a 3GB top-up.
For comparison, the majority of plans around the $10 mark only have a gig or two of data, which makes their use case a lot more limited. iiNet and Internode are two key exceptions where you'll get 8GB for $10, but only for your first six months after which you'll pay $19.99. Moose Mobile has a similar offer where you'll get 6GB for $9.80 per month for your first year, but you'll pay $15.80 per month thereafter.
Circles has also tweaked the remainder of its plan range, which now features a 30GB plan for $25 per month, 100GB plan for $45 per month, and a 160GB plan for $55 per month. New customers can get a $5 per month discount for their first three months on the $25 plan, or a $10 per month discount for their first six months on the larger two plans.
Here's the complete range:
Once again, these plans are all contract-free.
Circles is powered by the Optus 4G network.
