Sharing a hot tip with a friend is usually reward enough in itself, but Circles.Life is making sure you get something extra for spreading the word about its mobile phone plan deals with its Referral Bonus program.
If you’re a current Circles.Life customer, you can earn $10 account credit for every friend you bring onboard. According to the T&Cs there is no limit to the number of people you can invite, so you could rack up several months of free phone service if you have enough mates.
When your buddies sign up, they also receive a $10 credit per month for the first three months off their phone bills. This credit means they can add a big 20GB of data (usually $10 per month) or just pay $18 per month for their 20GB plan for the first three months.
Of course, your friends can also refer their friends once they’re on board and keep the cheap phone bills coming.
Activating the referral bonuses is a straightforward process. Each customer has a unique referral code to share with friends which you can find in the Circles.Life app. Friends will then just need to use that referral code to sign up for a Circles.Life plan for the bonuses to apply.
The referral program was recently revised to better suit what Circles.Life customers wanted. Previously Circles.Life offered bonus data and weekly referral perks, including things like Woolworths gift cards. But when the Circles.Life team polled their customers and asked what they actually wanted; the response was clear. Skip the data and gift cards and give us cheaper phone bills.
Circles.Life launched in Australia last September and is proving to be a telco that is worth keeping an eye on. It currently is the WhistleOut team's Editor's Pick for high use SIM Only plans, thanks to the enormous data inclusions available in these plan.
The plans also have better features than most of the no-frills SIM plans in market. For example, all Circles.Life plans include a bill-shock buffer where you are automatically credited an extra 3GB of free mobile data when you hit your data limit each month.
It’s small touches like this that add up to a phone service worth giving a shot. Just make sure you tell your mates so you can save some money as you test it out.
