Circles.Life is doing 20% off all phone plans

To celebrate the end of 2020 (finally), upstart telco Circles.Life is cutting 20% off all its phone plans for the first six months. In addition, you can get yourself three times the data on the provider's 20GB plan, bringing it up a hefty 60GB allowance.

Each plan has its own promo code, and we're not quite sure why. If you're looking at the 100GB plan, you'll need to use the promo code SAVEON38 during sign up. If you want the 60GB plan, use TRIPLEAND20. If you only want the 8GB plan, use SAVEON18.

Out of the three plans, the $22.40 per month plan with 60GB is the most compelling option. Here's how it compares to plans with a similar allowance:

Just be aware that the allowance will drop down to 20GB after your first six months are up. You'll also be moved to the full $28 per month rate at the same time, but since the plan is contract-free, you can always leave whenever.

Both the 100GB and 8GB deal are still pretty decent, but Circles has run better promos on both recently. For example, you could get its 100GB plan for $28 per month and its 8GB plan for $8 per month. But hey, if you're looking for a new plan right now, you could certainly do worse.

Circles' 60GB and 100GB plan include 3GB of bill shock protection data that kicks in when you manage to go over your allowance. Bill shock protection data isn't available on the 8GB plan.

These promos are available until 9pm AEDT on December 31, and you need to be a new customer to take advantage of them.
