Merry Taxmas everyone! While the end of financial year comes with its fair share of obligations, it's also a great time to save on a new phone, phone plan, or internet plan. With that in mind, we've rounded up the best end of financial year telco deals.
If you're after a new SIM-only plan, there are two stand out offers. Belong will give you double data for a whole year, meaning you'll get 80GB for $35 per month, or 200GB for $45 per month. Your allowances will drop down to 40GB and 100GB, respectively, after your first year is up, but the plans are contract-free.
Alternatively, Kogan has slashed 50% off its biggest 365-day prepaid recharges, meaning you don't have to think about your mobile bill for a whole year. Your choices are 250GB for $135 or 500GB for $150.
If you're looking for a new phone, Telstra will throw in a bonus Galaxy Tab A8 (valued at $529) with any Galaxy S22. Here are Telstra's Galaxy S22 plans.
Alternatively, Optus is doing a $200 discount on the Galaxy S22, $250 off the Galaxy S22+, and $300 of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
If you'd prefer an iPhone instead, Vodafone has $200 off the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
When it comes to NBN plans, you can save $20 per month on all of Aussie Broadband's plans from NBN 100 and up. This discount lasts for your first six months. The plans are contract-free, so you can always change provider after you go back to paying full price.
Telstra is also discounting NBN plans, and you'll save $15 per month on NBN 50 plans and up.
If you're looking for something cheaper, Kogan is currently throwing in $50 of credit for its online store with all NBN plans.
