Belong is giving away 300 $80 SIMs (and they come with a weird book)

If you want to try a new telco at no cost, Telstra's budget brand Belong is giving away 300 SIMs with $80 of credit. That's enough to get you as much of three months of free service, assuming you opt for the provider's $25 per month plan with 20GB.

To get in on this offer, you'll need to pre-order Belong's Book of Limbo, a free book designed to keep you entertained while swapping phones and you don't have internet access (you know, assuming a phone is your only device that can get you online).

Ostensibly full of surreal memes, the Book of Limbo also contains a full copy of Alice in Wonderland for some reason, and most importantly, the SIM card on the last page. It certainly is a time. You can register to get the Book of Limbo through Belong's website.

Belong is making 300 copies of the Book of Limbo available. If you're unsuccessful, you'll be sent a free ebook instead. Naturally, the ebook version does not come with a free SIM card.

While printing 300 hardcover books may seem at odds with Belong's stance as a carbon-neutral telco, it says that the book's carbon footprint has been offset, and that pulp and paper have been only been sourced from responsible sources.
