Here's how much the Samsung Galaxy Fold will cost on a plan

After months of waiting, Samsung's Galaxy Fold is now available in Australia with a hefty $2,999 outright price-tag. If you're keen on the first foldable but aren't keen on dropping three grand in one go, you'll be pleased to know that Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone are all offering the Galaxy Fold on a plan.

There are however a few catches. Devices are expected to be limited, and the only way you can get one is by going into a store. None of the three telcos are taking online orders for the Galaxy Fold.

Telstra Galaxy Fold plans

All Telstra stores are able to order in a Galaxy Fold if you're after one, but only 10 stores around the country have display stock.

• Galaxy Fold + 15GB: $174.95 per month
• Galaxy Fold + 60GB: $184.95 per month
• Galaxy Fold + 100GB: $204.95 per month
• Galaxy Fold + 150GB: $224.95 per month

Telstra also has 36-month plans available.

Optus Galaxy Fold plans

You can grab a Galaxy Fold through any Optus store, but only 11 stores around the country will have it on display.

• Galaxy Fold + 200GB: $254 per month

Optus also has 36-month plans available.

Vodafone Galaxy Fold plans

You can order a Galaxy Fold through any Vodafone store, or by calling Vodafone. Orders made over the phone will still have to be picked up in store. 10 Vodafone stores around the country will the Galaxy Fold on display.
