iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini pre-orders kick off at 12am on November 7 (AEDT), and if you're thinking about picking up either, you may be wondering just how big they are. After all, the iPhone 12 Pro Max has the largest iPhone display we've seen to date, while the iPhone 12 mini is the smallest iPhone in recent years.
While we haven't had a hands on with either new iPhone yet, we've managed to get ourselves a couple of Nomad leather cases for each device. Obviously a case adds a little bit of bulk to a phone, but it's a great indicator of what you can expect. As such, we've tried to size up both phones to a few other devices and objects to help you get an understanding of just how big the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro are.

First up, here's the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini cases alongside an iPhone 12 (in an official Apple case).

And here's the iPhone 12 Pro Max case next to last year's iPhone 11 Pro Max. It's pretty evident the iPhone 12 Pro Max is going to be a touch bigger.

Here's the iPhone 12 mini case next to an iPhone SE. While they look similar in size, the iPhone 12 mini will be just a little smaller.

Just in case you're curious, the iPhone 12 mini is roughly the size of three or so individually wrapped TimTams.

And here is the iPhone 12 Pro Max case next to a Nintendo Switch.

Banana Phone for scale.

And to finish, here's the iPhone 12 Pro Max case and iPhone 12 mini case next to a Satanic Bible, which is a Normal Thing people tend to have on hand, right?
