Telstra has just dropped its End of Financial Year (EOFY) sales offers.

Until June 30, you can save on NBN, select mobile plans and handsets.

It's important to note that this discount only lasts for the first month and Telstra's putting up its prices from July 1 on most of its NBN plans. Its NBN 250 and NBN 1000 plans will get cheaper.

While $1 for a month of internet might sound like a good deal, Telstra's NBN plans tend to be some of the most expensive. Although they do come with a 4G backup modem and other network features such as SmartFix. If you leave within 24 months, you'll need to return the modem or pay a $200 non-return fee.

Telstra's Satellite Home Internet plan (powered by Starlink) might be a better deal. It's also discounted to $1 for the first month. It usually costs $125 per month, plus the cost of the Standard Starlink Kit ($549).

This is cheaper than Starlink's regular Residential plan, which usually costs $139 per month, but it's worth noting that Telstra's plan offers lower maximum speeds of 50Mbps and upload speeds of 10Mbps.
