
Around 64% of Australian households are using an outdated router, and it could be dragging down their NBN speeds. That's according to a recent report from Opensignal, an independent company that analyses internet and mobile networks around the world.
The report found that most connections rely on routers with older Wi-Fi standards, technology that's between 13 and 23 years old. These routers simply weren't built for today's faster plans, like NBN 500.
