Samsung today announced two new tablets, both set to launch on the somewhat more affordable side. The first is the Galaxy Tab S7 FE (pictured above), a semi-premium tablet that borrows its branding from the Galaxy S20 FE.
The Galaxy Tab S7 FE touts a 12.4-inch display, bringing it in line with the Galaxy Tab S7+ in terms of size. There's also an S Pen in the box, but all other accessories are sold separately.
Other key specifications include a Snapdragon 750G processor, at least 4GB of RAM, a minimum of 64GB of expandable storage, and a 10,090mAh battery.
You'll be able to get it in WiFi-only, 4G-ready, and 5G-ready models, although it's unclear if all configurations will be available in Australia. In terms of colours, you'll be able to pick from black, silver, green, and pink.
Samsung has yet to confirm local pricing and availability, but it will available down under in the second half of the year. Based on international pricing, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Galaxy Tab S7 FE come in at around $1,000.

Samsung's second new device is the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, a budget tablet with a comparatively tiny 8.7-inch screen. The specs are a lot more modest too, including a MediaTek MT8768 processor, a minimum of 3GB of RAM, at least 32GB of expandable storage, and a 5,100mAh battery.
The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will only be available in WiFi-only and 4G variants. There's no 5G model.
Once again, all we know regarding local availability for the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is that it will hit shelves in the second half of the year. Based on international pricing, it could cost as little as $200.
