Telstra promos aren't exactly a regular occurrence, but Big T currently has some great SIM-only plans with double data running right now.
$49 per month gets you 30GB of data on a 12-month contract, while $59 gets you a massive 60GB. The 60GB plan also includes unlimited talk and text to 15 countries. And if that still isn't enough, Telstra's $89 plan gets a bonus 30GB, taking it to 90GB per month.
While the $89 plan is the priciest out of the bunch, it also includes a 12-month Foxtel Now subscription valued at $25 per month, and includes free international roaming with a monthly 2GB roaming data allowance.
Here's the full details:
This offer is available for both new and existing customers.
For Telstra, these plans are about as good at it gets, but how do they compare to the rest of the market? When it comes to the 30GB plan, there's definitely cheaper ways to get that much data: Optus and Vodafone will both do the same allowance for $35 per month.
Similar is true when it comes to Telstra's 60GB offer. Optus will do 50GB for $45 per month, Vodafone has 80GB for $60 per month, and Think Mobile is the clear winner in terms of value, with a 80GB $48 per month plan. The Telstra 60GB plan is however one of the best Telstra network deals we've seen to date, at least, for those who need a lot of data.
