A Federal court injunction has prevented Telstra from cutting off ISPOne wholesale services, saving customers using the Kogan Mobile and Aldi Mobile services from having to find new service providers, until a court case is heard over unpaid bills.
No date has been set for the court case, which will resolve the ongoing dispute between Telstra and ISPOne over whether the wholesaler owes Telstra millions of dollars in unpaid bills, or whether the telco has incorrectly calculated what it believes it is owed.
The injunction offers breathing room to the 280,000 Australians using services resold by ISPOne, including Kogan and Aldi mobile customers, who may be stranded in the middle of the dispute if Telstra's argument prevails.
Kogan has already sent out emails to customers warning them of an unfavourable outcome, and has ceased selling Pre-Paid service rrecharges with an expiry longer than 30-days.
