If you've been hanging out for a new HTC U12+, your wait is almost over – the pre-sale is on now. The U12+ is the only smartphone HTC will release in 2018 and is $1,199.
At WhistleOut, we loved the HTC U11 and the U12+ certainly promises new features to excite its fans. Notably, the camera's DxOMark score is 103, the second highest of any smartphone on the market behind the Huawei P20 Pro. Edge Sense is also back with new and improved features like squeezes and taps to trigger actions and grip to lock screen orientation.
The HTC U12+ also comes with an extra-tall 18:9 display (with no notch), facial recognition, a glass back, no headphone jack (you'll find USB Type-C buds with noise cancelling in the box), and two rear-facing cameras. It's dual SIM, translucent blue with 128GB of storage.
Pre-orders are available exclusively through the HTC website and will come with a free Harmon Kardon Wireless speaker valued at $179 (only while stocks last). Pre-orders will start shipping at the end of July.
