Vodafone brings endless data to more plans

Vodafone has expanded its range of "endless data" plans with a new $45 per month option. The plan itself includes 30GB of high speed data, unlimited talk and text, $5 per day roaming, and 1000 international minutes to Vodafone's zone one countries and a further 100 international minutes for zone two.

Once you've used your 30GB of high speed data, your remaining usage is slowed to a 1.5Mbps for the rest of your billing month. While this is much slower than a regular connection, 1.5Mbps is still fast enough to stream standard definition video.

This plan is available as a SIM-only option on a 12-month contract, or paired with a new phone. If you grab a new phone with the Vodafone plan, you won't be locked in to a contract, but you'll have to pay out the remaining balance on your smartphone if you want to leave early.

Prior to today, Vodafone's range of endless mobile data plans started at a $55 per month price point.
