Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme, today launched its first new device since the company arrived in Australia: the Realme C3. Much like the company's other devices, the Realme C3 has hardware that punches above its $269 price-tag, offering beefier specs than you'd expect given the cost.
The most impressive is a 5,000mAh battery. Realme says the C3 should get as much as 30 days of standby time per charge, which is essentially the same as what you'd get on one of the reimagined Nokia feature phones like the 8110 4G. In terms of usage, the company is promising up to 20.8 hours of video streaming or 43.9 hours of call time before you have top up again.
Other key specifications for the Realme C3 include a 6.5-inch 720p+ display, a MediaTek Helio G70 processor, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage. The device has three rear-facing cameras, include a 12MP primary lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth lens. There's a 5MP selfie camera on the front.
The Realme C3 is available right now through retailers including Realme e-store, JB Hi-Fi, Bing Lee, Mobileciti, Amazon, Kogan, eBay, and Catch.com. You get it in a choice of "Blazing Red" or "Frozen Blue". At this stage, the Realme C3 is only available through online retailers, rather than in brick-and-mortar stores.
Customers who pick up the Realme C3 before May 9 are able to get a free pair of Realme Wireless Buds valued at $79. These can be redeemed via the Realme Promotions app.
